Great place for Boba and coffee. Wish they opened earlier on weekends. 9am is like my third cup...

My first time coming here since I was craving boba for a long time and decided to give it a try since its close to my work. First impression was a cool ambience, clean, and a LARGE variety of drinks! I originally came in for a milk tea boba drink & I think there was some sort of miscommunication when I ordered and based off the taste I think I got an iced coffee with boba lol? I might be wrong BUT in the end I actually LOVED IT! Not too strong nor too sweet but the perfect energy boost I needed to get me through my afternoon. I will definitely be coming back during my breaks & bringing friends! SUPER happy I found this gem!

Owner Please contact me, concerning a nasty worker. EDIT: i changed my stars simply for the owner and his response. He clearly cares about his business and his customers. i appreciate that. Doesn't change the fact that the girl is nasty. Had a bad experience which usually never happens at Bobaloca. We love the drinks and always get the jasmine milk tea, well today it wasn't made correctly and we continued to ask the girl to remake it and she was so nasty about it. She continued to say she worked there for two years and that she was right and we were wrong when really the drink never ever taste or looks like a normal jasmine milk tea.

Owner is incredibly sweet and I come here multiple times a week he knows my order. The tea tastes really good abs he does 1/4 sugar for me because I prefer more of the green tea taste! If you like boba, check him out.

Cute little boba shop! The staff was friendly and our drinks were made quickly. The shop is spacious. There's lot of board games if you want to stick around and hang out. Or outdoor patio seating as well. Really love the almond milk tea. The peach black tea was a little on the strong side, but the lychee balanced it out. Two 16oz drinks cost $10. Not too bad.

Come for the Boba, stay the comfy coach. It's a pet peeve of mine, but if you want people to come in and spend some time, you've got to have nice places to sit. There are a few tables for sitting and sipping both on the inside and outside. But the crown jewel of the seating area are the brown waffle looking couches near the wall to rest your fanny. They've got a good mix of different drinks from Milk Teas, Iced Teas, Slushes, and Fraps. The Coffees come in 3 sizes while the cold drinks come in two sizes. I'm a fan of the Bobaloca Milk Tea and there Green Apple slush. You get a good amount of Boba for the standard price. Drink prices range from about $3 - 6. Stray observation -The name is distinctly Californian with its use of Spanglish.

Recently my coworkers have been coming back from their breaks with Boba drinks, and I'm always asking them the who, the what, and most importantly, the where. I finally found out that they got them from Boba Loca, which is right down the street from our job. So today was the day I finally decided to check them out and see what they're all about. Boba Loca is located in a little shopping plaza right on aviation in Manhattan Beach, and there's plenty of parking which is always a plus. When I entered, I, unfortunately, wasn't greeted, which kind of sucked considering they weren't busy. I ordered my drink which was a Thai iced tea with Boba. I got two large ones, one for myself and my hubby. Once I ordered, I didn't have to wait long, which is always great. During my very minimal wait, I looked around and checked out their little space. In addition to drinks, they have snacks available and pastries. They have a seating area, and it seems like they have board games available to play with. When it was time to punch my straw in, I immediately took a sip. The Thai tea was delicious, and exactly how it should taste, my only issue was the Boba itself. The Boba was stuck together, which I didn't like, and it just wasn't the freshest. Boba really makes a Boba drink a Boba drink. It seemed like a really cool place to hang out with friends and grab a drink or snack and play some games. I will definitely check them out again, and hopefully, they'll have a good batch of boba!

Honestly, outside of Sawtelle, this is my favorite boba stops (definitely in the South Bay). The customer service gets you there alone, and the milk tea is really great as well Easy, friendly, fast, and good! Simple as that
